ARTIST STATEMENT
I think it is very important to master the technique of painting; you must be able to paint what and how you want. Your skill increases the possibilities for expression. It is like learning a language, you cannot speak fluently straight away, it requires study and training. You really need the knowledge of grammar and vocabulary. Only then can you start communicating.
